4. Hollywood | Hollywood Walk of Fame
Hollywood with its stars on the Walk of Fame was the first place I wanted to visit when I came to United States.
The walk of fame stretches for about 1.3 miles from east to west. There are theme shops, souvenir shops, cinemas and cafes.
5. Venice Beach & Venice Canals
Venice Beach is a bustling, wealthy outlier of Los Angeles, fronted by the famed Venice Boardwalk, technically known as the Ocean Front Walk, and recognized for its free-spirited character.
6. Los Angeles County Museum of Art: LACMA

Universal City Walk is the 3-block entertainment heart of Universal Studios Hollywood—the destination to go for dining, shopping, and live concerts after a day at the amusement park.

When to visit LA?
Any month is a wonderful time to visit Los Angeles because of the year-round mild temperatures, dry weather, and chilly evenings. Summers are hotter, particularly in the Valley, than at the coast, with lower temperatures that often start with morning clouds and end with sunny afternoons.
Taking everything into consideration, the ideal months to visit are September and October or February and March. Outside of the holidays, November through January might be a good time to visit, especially in terms of crowds and prices. The disadvantage of those months is the colder weather. This is also “rainy season” in Los Angeles, but those are air quotes, as several places get more rain in a week than Los Angeles does in a year.
Transportation
LAX, one of the world’s largest and busiest airports, is the main entry point for most travelers to Los Angeles. John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, Long Beach Airport, LA/Ontario International Airport (in Ontario), and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank are also local choices.
Airport buses, door-to-door shuttle vans, city buses, light rail, cabs, and rental vehicles are among the many transit choices accessible at LAX. LAX is connected to the Metro Rail Green Line light rail system by a free shuttle bus, and free shuttle buses transfer passengers between airline terminals.
